In Train mode, there are two types of tasks: Shadowing and Dictation.

In Dictation mode, you’ll listen to the sentence and then type what you hear using your keyboard.

If you’re not quite sure what you heard, you can listen to the sentence a few more times. You can also press and hold the space bar to get a hint if you’re unsure how to spell the target sentence.

Currently, Dictation isn’t available for three languages in the app: Taiwanese (Tâigí), Hakka, and Wenzhounese.
